Elgin (IL) High School recently honored Melissa as a member of her high school’s “Wall of Fame.” She joins such notables as a former CEO of General Motors, a Pulitzer Prize winning Television critic, NASA’s CAPCOM, and a Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, among many others. And, of course, no trip home in the fall is complete without the obligatory Homecoming football game.
Melissa held a Master Class for the Minnesota Music Teachers Association at their annual conference held in Plymouth, MN, June 15. See the Master Class section of this website for more pictures of the participants.

Florida Atlantic University honored Melissa as the Distinguished Alumna from the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters for 2016 in a ceremony on the FAU campus, Tuesday, May 3. Melissa earned her MFA in Acting and Directing from FAU in 1990.
Melissa conducted a master class for the Music Theater students the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis.
Melissa presented a workshop on How to Use the Punctuation of the Lyric to the Cast of The Wedding Singer between shows Wednesday.
